Project Details: 

The project aims to evaluate the first two-year development within the five-year business plans of clustering initiatives within the scope of the Cluster Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, to identify the problems in implementation and to offer recommendations for the development of the program.

PAL Team conducted the study within the framework of four different components and prepared an evaluation report as a result of synthesizing the findings. In addition to desk research, 20 in-depth interviews were conducted with management of cluster initiatives, member firm managers and ministry experts. In addition, a survey was conducted with members of cluster initiatives. Finally, policy recommendations were developed through the synthesis of the main findings.

The work carried out ultimately aimed to support the development of four clustering initiatives supported under the Cluster Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. Cluster-specific evaluations were made for the cluster initiatives.
