Project Details: 

The project aims to evaluate the 3rd and 4th year developments and performances of the four cluster enterprises under the Cluster Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. The study is a continuation of the first study evaluating the 1st and 2nd year’s developments.

With the project, PAL evaluated the development of the clustering initiatives that were financially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. The project aimed to evaluate the 3rd and 4th years of the 5-year business plans put forward by the cluster initiatives at the beginning of the process. In this context, the research framework has been developed to cover the previous impact assessment study conducted by PAL, which evaluated the first two years.

For this, PAL conducted in-depth interviews with cluster managements, and a survey study was conducted with the participation of 150 cluster member companies. The final report includes main findings along with policy recommendation to improve the impact of the program.
