This project aims to assess the impact of Turkey’s leading online job posting and recruitment platform, Kariyer.net, on labor market dynamics and to quantify its contribution to recruitment outcomes. It updates a previously conducted impact analysis with new data.

The impact evaluation methodology developed by the PAL team includes both a quantitative assessment of Kariyer.net’s influence on labor market dynamics and a qualitative evaluation of factors enabling job seekers to find employment through the platform. These qualitative aspects include facilitating better matches, speeding up processes, and reducing information asymmetry in the labor market. As part of the research design, PAL undertook tasks such as designing and administering surveys, analyzing data, and visualizing labor market statistics from TURKSTAT to reflect Turkey’s labor market dynamics. The findings of the report have been featured in press conferences, national television ads, and billboards.
