Project Details: 

Coordination of socio-economic analysis and economic development strategy components of Ibri Structure Plan (ISP), as part of a consortium led by F&M Middle East and Broadway&Malyan. The project will underpin the Oman National Spatial Strategy and its vision, focusing on strengthening and promoting sustainable design in the urban environment. PAL's responsibilities focuses on employment projections, economic analysis, economic development strategy and economic impacts for the implementation  plan. Through rigorous research and data analysis, the aim was to gain insights into the existing socio-economic conditions and trends in the region. Tasks include development of novel quantitative to render economic analysis (jobs, GDP, clusters etc.) much more granular not only at the city level but also going down to zonal and superblock levels as well as the level of intervention projects.
