The project was carried out in order to measure and assess the financial burden of the services provided to the refugees in Turkey by the municipalities.

PAL Team measured and assessed the financial burden of the municipalities, its impact on national-level financial planning and compiled the priorities of the municipalities. PAL measured the fiscal impact and assessed the overall impact on quality of life in 16 municipalities in Turkey. PAL Team also moderated the stakeholder workshops designed to collect qualitative data on the impact. All critical findings and main results were presented in a final report for the project.
