The project aimed to provide a long-term vision for Ege University, which is one of Turkey's most established and largest state universities.

PAL organized a deliberative polling conference that engaged over 800 faculty members in extensive discussions regarding the university's strategic orientation. The four focal points of discussion included "Students and Quality of Education," "Campus Life and University Culture," "Community Relations and Impact on Society," and "Becoming a Research University." Preceding the conference, PAL conducted focus group interviews and one-on-one meetings with faculty members to facilitate the meeting's design and analyze data from the poll. Additionally, PAL prepared the enritreity of the content for the conference as well as a final report summarizing the main findings and results.
